P.S. Blockbuster takes 3 days to get a movie, and another 3 to get it back where i live, and netflix its a day turnaround. and theres no blockbuster to exchange them in where i live..it just makes me mad, they all have a short wait, so they skip down to the 30th short wait on my list. just weird. haha.

If the movies say they have a wait, no matter how long, it means they don't have any copies to ship out at the present time, so they pick the first movie on your list that they actually have in stock and ship that one to you. I don't generally put brand new releases on the top of my list, so I've only had to wait on a few titles so far, but it hasn't been too bad. Netflix has the best selection I've seen, so I'm willing to wait for a few titles. Plus, they have that new watch instantly feature which I enjoy.

They only have so many copies of any particular movie. If there is a high demand for it there is going to be a longer wait. So if the next one on your list isn't immediately available they skip down to the next one that is. There's not a lot you can do about it other than learn to be more patient.

Blockbuster does the same thing.

If there is a wait, no matter how long, it is still a WAIT. That means it is not available, so they skip it and send one that is.
