I think that had something to do with it, i think he said he wants to enjoy his time off, then i think his agent sucks...he thinks that just cause he has been in the league for so long he can miss all of training camp and preseason and walk on the field and do just fine...i think he is wrong, he might be in shape and healthy, but there is a difference between being in shape and football shape, i remember when i played i worked out all summer and when i strapped the pads on, it was still tough getting used to...i think he made a mistake

Yep.
Most veterans hate training camp.
Since he was fined for missing camp he probably wanted to keep some of the money from going to his golddigging ex-wife.
