There is a tube station in Heathrow airport - just follow the signs for the Piccadilly Line when you reach arrivals. It's about a 45-60 minute ride to central London. A one way ticket will cost £4. The fastest way is on the Heathrow Express which gets you to Central London in 15 min. but costs about £15 each way. I always just take the tube.

The Heathrow Express takes 15 to 20 minutes to reach Paddington Station and there is a large taxi rank adjacent to Platform 1 at Paddington. However the best mode of travel into central London really depends on the area your hotel is in. If for example it is located in Hammersmith or Earls Court, you'd be advised to take the Underground (Subway) Piccadilly Line which passes through those places

I would travel from heathrow to central London with National Express i think that they are brilliant they pick you up from right outside the terminal and drop you of in central London at the victoria bus station its a very good service i use them at least 10 times a year

The cheapest and easiest way is the tube (Piccadilly Line), and you can find the underground station at Heathrow airport, just follow the signs.

As he says, probably the best is the tube.

It depends where exactly you are heading. The train goes to Paddington, so if you are heading anywhere near there, that may be easiest.
