As the war/occupation is not winnable, I'd say it is to make more money for the war profiteer corporations that give so much money to his party. The more profits thay make, the more thay can give for the next election.

The surge did paintings as marketed. regardless of the information right this moment, violence in Iraq is far down as a results of fact the surge became into put in place. (BTW, the surge has ended and troop stages are all the way down to the place they have been previously the surge.) no person is chuffed with the political progression being made, yet there is progression and that i think of we ought to be sure the interest through. do no longer confuse obdurate lack of wisdom with accountability.

the ORIGINAL stated intent of the surge was to give the Iraqi government breathing room to work out the details of reconciliation. thus bringing the three major groups in Iraq together in the central government. not happening.

when the reports finally get filtered and sorted out we can expect calls for "six more months" to get the job done. (this same strategy has been used successfully for the past three years).

It's sort of like that. His plan is to get the next President to continue his war. It is time for Bush/Cheney to resign. If they are allowed to continue, this country will be rubble.
