I need advice not so much an answer.

Today last period I was lieing my head on my desk because i havint had so much sleep the night before. All of the sudden my substitute teacher took my desk and fliped it over while i was still on it. All my books went crashing to the floor. He told me "You dont sleep in my class, if you want to sleep you can get out!" so i just simply left, what els was i suppose to do? just sit there and take that? (Im in my last year of highschool). I think that this teacher should be reported im seriously thinking about going to the principle about this, i just want to know if your opinion. Or if you have any idea's of what would be good to tell the princaple then tell me.. thanx im pretty mad at this substitute teacher.

tell the principal, and just stick to the truth.

You should definitely report this teacher. However, a smart idea would be to bring a few students who witnessed the event with you when you go to the principal. They should wait outside while you discuss this with the principal. Tell him/her that you have witnesses in the hall who saw what happened. The issue should be investigated, and the teacher disciplined. If the school does not take action against this teacher (throwing desks is pretty violent), then you need to file a lawsuit against both the teacher and the school.

Yes, report it you could have gotten hurt. The next one may get hurt. If the principle won't do any thing about it have your parents tell the school board, then your area rep. the teacher might have to be removed. We had a do this for one of your daughters. We got the teacher removed.

just tell your principle that you were resting your head on your desk and the teacher came and flipped it over. ask if it was anything to worry about. you could also go to your parents or friends first to see what they thought. if the teacher was violent then he might be even more violent someother time and you dont want that to happen. just tell your principle that you were just kinda worried about it and wanted to make sure that everything was fine with the teacher. if you really got hurt then you should deffinitly tell your principle.

It was kind've bad that you fell asleep. Did you fall asleep or was your head just on the table? Whatever you did might not be acceptable, but the teacher responded with a much more violent consequence. Tell your principal.

Speaking as a first grade teacher, I would NEVER hurt or touch a kid like that. I hug them, and that's all...I think YOU have to tell the principal. He may doubt you, but get one of your friends or classmates to back u up. Better yet, have your parents call....or you can just tell him. Like I said, I teach first grade and things are different in high school!

If you feel strongly about it which it sounds like you do I would talk to the principal. I would admit that you should not have had your head down but that it was not right to flip the desk over. Enough complants on the sub and he or she will be gone.

I encountered this same problem when I was your age. I'd stay up all night "partying" and not go to bed early enough. Get more sleep so you can have better focus and the teacher may not assault you again.

So, why didn't you go straight to the office?
If your story is true, no teacher is allowed to touch a student except in self defense.
