I dress "sceneish" and every time I pass a group of scene kids, generally females, they give me a really dirty look, and it really gets my back up. I feel so insulted, they give me that ciritcal sort of look, like "you're not scene enough".
Anyway, any advice on a witty comeback which would make them seem stupid for giving me a dirty look? I'm male if that makes any difference.

Get a cute female to talk to another female about how she loves what you're wearing. Make sure she's close enough for the crowd to hear. You gotta start somewhere and you might even start your own fad that way~

Next time try smiling at them and maybe a "hey" in the hallway. Kill them with kindness is what I always try to do. It works 99.9% of the time. Besides, if they keep giving you looks just forget them, obviously they have no life if everyday they contradict your warbdrobe. What a waste.

Maybe it gets your "back up" because you want them to accept you.
they probably are giving you dirty looks because they have their guards up, just like you do toward them.
go up to them, smile, and talk. it can make all the difference and they might end up being nice people. if they continue to disrespect you, they aren't worth your time.

Just saunter past nonchalantly, pretend you haven't noticed them or their nasty looks and please for goodness sake don't trip up, it'll kind of spoil the effect, LOL! Good luck.
