If they disband it, aren't the SAME people just going to volunteer again? It's not a huge country - they don't have an endless supply of people willing to do this job. Thoughts?

Its a hopeless situation filled with great danger. We have been fools to rebuild this country, it is more likely they will end up our enemy in the long run. For them, corruption is a way of life, and nothing we do will ever fix that.

Read that article and started laughing.
The same political/religious types they have now.
This is a perfect example of why the USA is hated around the world and is going to lose in Iraq. The president and the political establishment are morons.

it should be disbanded and then reconstructed with 60% of sheite in sheite and 60% sunni in the sunnni territories and they should be monitered by their comunities like ours, then the people will know who's in charge them we need to redeploy in other places and go on to let iraq do what it need to to be a free country. With us as big brother trying to monitor the society that doesnt mirror ours is a total waste of time. Our resources need to be spread elsewere not just in Iraq but afganistan also not to mention Pakistan(dont think were arnt heading there) and Syria (We are there now) love the notion that Iraq can be free to its own devices IMO
