In a relationship - it can cause problems. I've went out with three 'nymphos'. They were all problem relationships and they've all affected me in some way negatively. But oh well!

Step back and think of your future. Is it what you really want to keep on doing? If you keep doing it, you'll find it harder to break the habit.

It's only as bad as the consequences. If the action brings STDs = bad. If the action results in broken families = bad. If the action is completely safe and legal, then I would say it might be good, or at least it's neither good nor bad.

But if the action brings damage to the person's self-esteem (and prompts her to ask questions like "is it bad") then I'd say it is probably not worth it. You're putting your self-esteem at risk. When in doubt, don't do it!

Nope - just have to be careful about who you become sexually active with, use protection and good judgment. Don't put yourself at risk of physical harm and don't engage with anyone who cannot be trusted to respect your privacy. Because, lets face it, we live in a time when women are still judged by a different standard than men and some people judge both men and women who choose not to follow common norms regarding sexual activity.

not really. just make sure to do things SAFELY.

And to do it for the right reasons, not the wrong ones.

As long as you are a mature, consenting, adult...not cheating, and are responsible in your sexual activity (not spreading diseases) and your partners match those criteria also, then do as you desire.

However if you are a textbook mymphomaniac, you may want to get professional help as it could negatively effect other aspects of your life.

If it negatively affects your life, health and relationships... yes. No one thing, obsession, should rule someones life.. it's not healthy. There must be rationale, logic, self-restraint to a keep a degree of perspective there.
