They do this on you because you look weak, because they assume that they won't have to fear anyhting when doing this to you. REPORT THEM.
And if this does not work, walk routes that many watch. This seems to be a burden, but, well, that's life, man. If you are not strong or a member of a gang or whatever, you have to consider taking those kind of steps.
