I take medicine every day and have for a long time and not one of the pills has ever mentioned anything to me about an interest in research. I guess pills and other medications talk to some folks just not to me. Oh well, such is life.

US medical professionals are still actively researching diseases and cures. It is our government that is not doing all that it can to provide for further research. It has not stopped the medical profession from doing research and seeking new ways to improve/save lives daily.
