I just need info on what is all needed to transfer parental rights to another person temperary. Is there alot of legal fees to deal with or is it as simple as a notary letter. I really need to know as soon as someone can tell me. And is each state different on the matter. Thank you hope to hear from someone soon

When you say "transfer parental rights to another person temperary (sic)" what exactly do you want to accomplish? if you just need for someone to care for your children while you are away and allow them to make medical decisions in your absence, you need a limited power or attorney.

in rhode island you can go to the town hall and fill out a paper to give guardianship to someone else they meet once a month and you go and sit at a table with the other person and a judge and witnesses and they make sure you want to do it and you all sign papers and thats it one thing tho the person getting the guardianship cant ask for child support at the town hall that you have to go to court for hope this helps good luck

Your dad and mom can seek for his or her rights as grandparents to be allowed visitation. there is not any such ingredient as moving nparental rights. could desire to report for visitatiion in kinfolk courtroom.
