Well it is absolutely true! The power of positive thinking is absolutely astounding. Medical research confirms that a positive attitude works wonders at fighting disease and ailments, from the common cold to cancer. People with an "I think I can" attitude, are far more likely to succeed at work, and in accomplishing every goal they set in life.
Throughout the day, stop and evaluate what you're thinking. If you find that your thoughts are negative, try to find a way to put a positive spin on them.
Example:
1. I've never done it before! = Negative.
~~It's an opportunity to learn something new! = Positive spin.
2. It's too complicated! = Negative.
~~Let's look at it from a different angle! = Positive spin.
3. There's not enough time! = Negative.
~~Let's re-evaluate some priorities! = Positive spin.

he is right. Ex: I work hard and feel that I deserve a new car. I drive a 1995 saturn which is a small car. If i get a car note, I will struggle with it because of other things that are more important in my life right now. My positive attitude about it is that i do have a good reliable car - it has a mitsubishi motor, only 85,000 miles, it is clean and it gets me to work, school, grocery store, dr's appts. to the clubs and where ever I want to go. So that is my positive attitude I keep - especially when i pass by people on the bus stop!

A positive attitude is a huge plus if you can sustain it under stress, but just pretending to be happy when you aren't can actually make things worse. I say find an actual basis for being positive and stick with it. Also, there are negative things in life and you aren't going to neutralise them by pretending them away. I would'nt use the term positve so much as optimistic. That'll do a better job of getting you through the hard times as well as being justified by the good times.

I believe it's true, I work very hard at staying positive about everything, which isn't always easy! I found that when I allow negative things into my life things seem to be more difficult to deal with. With a positive attitude even when you have bad stuff thrown at you it's easier to cope with them!

Remove & rebuild a toilet tank its gaskets & parts so far so good I thought.
Its not so bad I'm saving big money doing it myself.
A few hours later I thought finally I can finish up & put it back onto the floor & rule my throne.
I removed the smelly doopy wax ring when my thin latex rubber glove ripped.
Nasty!! corn, peanuts, I dont know what that was & didnt care.
Fortunately I have several hand cleaners & one that worked on the beeswax. lol
Even though I clenaed my hands I didnt eat any sandwiches for awhile. lol

I think so Elliot.
Example:My husband was in a really bad mood last night. He plays softball on a all guys league. They lost last night by one run.He was negative about it and about himself.Positiveness that I possessed towards him was it's just a game. There are more important things in life to piss and moan about.
