Why on earth would you WANT to "cure" curiosity? Without that "magical essence" called curiosity, we'd still be stuck in the stone age, gathering berries and roots, perhaps win the fight for some carrion with a bunch of vultures, and walk whereever we want to go - because even the wheel wouldn't have been invented. . .
No thanks - I prefer being curious!

Why would you want to cure curiosity? It is the most characteristic trait of the human. It is natural to want to know how things work and why. What is the point of learning something if you aren't curious about why it is the way it is? Never ignore curiosity- console it, try to find the answer to whatever you are pining to know. If there is no answer, make a theory. Theories are the best way to deal with curiosity.

Boredom is not a disease requiring a cure. Boredom can be enjoyed.

Boredom is a state of the mind. A fear of boredom only leads to an addiction to thought. Any thought is better than the dreaded boredom. Most who dread boredom suffer with anger, anxiety and depression. The mind never stops for fear of the loathed boredom.

The cure for curiosity is religion, since it has all the answers.

This is why if it was left to religion we would still be living a healthy life style. We would be in perfect a harmony with nature, heating our mammoth mutton over a cozy cave fire. We would still chose our mates by hitting them on the head with big sticks (which would increase my chances with girls quite a bit).

Damn you all who believes curiosity, reason, and logic makes the world a better place. :))

No, curiosity goes away when you die. I can't imagine there is anyone, who is capable of reasoning, who is totally without some kind of curiosity.
