when no input signal is displayed on my computer screen this means your monitors refresh rate has been set at too high a frequency
to fix this you need to start your p.c in safe mode(press f8 at start up) and on the desktop go to control panel>display properties>settings>advanced>monitors>then change the refresh rate to the lowest ,normally 60hz,also make sure the box is ticked that says"hide modes that this monitor cannot support"
,this will make sure this problem dosent happen again
howvever normally when a monitor has been set to a "out of range" setting it will return to the previous setting after 15 seconds, however some people turn off their p.c,s in panic and this dosent happen
if you have problems with the above method,a quick fire way is to go into safe mode and uninstall the display drivers(this could be nvidia ,ati or intel, check your manual) and then download the latest display drivers and install these, this has a positive action as it updates your display drivers while fixing the problem
any problems let me know
good luck !

No Input Signal means that the monitor can not see the PC attached.

The wrong resolution should give an "Out Of Range" message.

Check that your monitor cable is well secured at both ends. Check that there are no bent pins (some may be missing as there are a few no-connections. If unsure check each end of the cable against the other.)

Check that there are no major bends or kinks in the cable. If there are you may have a broken wire in the cable and need a new one.

If you can try the monitor on a different PC.
If you can try a different monitor on your PC.

If the problem follow the monitor, try a new cable.
If the problem follows the PC, check the video card is properly seated. You migght need to replace the video card.

What he reported above me, each so often human beings stress the connector into the video card and it bends the pins. This makes the video reveal think of this is not related and you get the "No sign enter" reveal. in case you have a flat reveal, you need to additionally examine the different end going into the video reveal, those each so often get loose once you progression around a video reveal.

Um - plug the screen into a PC? That's the message you see when there is no data cable plugged in.
