I'm attempting to replace the spark plugs on my car. What is considered a good price for spark plugs and which brand should I purchase? Thank you.

The car is a Honda Accord (1999), EX edition, 4 -cylinder engine.

Thank you again.

I would have been very helpful if you had included your car, year and model.
If you want to go first class: Denso, NGK and AC-Delco have the relatively new iridium plugs that most likely will outlive your car. Of course they are expensive. Platinum plugs are good for 50,000 miles. Autolite, NGK, AC-Delco Denso are among the best. They are somewhat less expensive than the harder high temperature iridium lines. The least expensive are Champion which in my opinion are pretty much the bottom of the barrel.

You can't go wrong with the heat range as suggested in your manual. The more you spend on plugs the longer they will stay in service. Tests have shown that multi- ground tipped plugs are a pure sales pitch. They do not ignite the mixture any better than a fine center electrode with one ground loop. You will notice that the more expensive iridium and platinum plugs have smaller diameter center electrodes to concentrate the spark at the gap. Bosch multi-trick ground gaps aren't used in any racing I'm familiar with

With today's ignition systems it's critical not to cut corners with your choice of ignition wires. When you replace them wipe on silicone ignition grease inside the boots on both ends. The next time the boots come off they will not be baked and fused to the plugs or the coil or individual coil packs. This grease does not cause any added electrical resistance.
