Yes,that's their position and strategy. The regressive right is trying to frighten America and denounce all opposition as treasonous.
They are in close cooperation with their media outlets like fox and hate radio poisoning American public opinion and the political climate.
Disagreeing on politics is one thing but the way they demonize liberals and anyone who rejects their failed policies and anti intellectual ideology truly resembles fascist tactics

Hey, now, they may have a point. After all, I'm a communist, socialist, liberal, fanatical, unpatriotic traitor. Odd that many of those terms contradict, yet I've seen them all in the same sentence describing liberals all the time. Isn't it beautiful that we live in a country that values freedom of speech, yet when we use it to speak out against the government, we're labeled in these ways? Makes me love being an American to have this sort of climate.

Well, speaking out against the right-wing desire to completely outlaw abortion with no health exception isn't treason. Other than that. ....other than that there's a lot of faux-bravery out there among people who like to claim it's brave to parrot the same treasonous clap-trap that democrat senators spew on TV on a daily basis. Yeah, it's REALLY brave to say "Me Too"!
