You could try a n indoor aerial, with a plug in booster, they sell them in Argos.
Otherwise get a roof aerial it will last you "0 years, make sure you get a digital aerial fitted not an analogue one.

I have an ariel in the loft with a sony freeview box works very well got ariel from argos

In north west kent I can get away with connecting the loop aerial on the top of a portable tv to a digibox, but upstairs only. About 15 miles from transmitter.

They can work with an indoor ariel depending on how good the signal is in your area. Try it

Yes if you have a good box, good signals and good indoor aerial. I do it occasionally, but you'll find C4,C5 and BBC2 not very strong and keep breaking up.
