I think so,I think Cadillac is out of gas.Marion Barber will get the goal line carries but not much yardage.I think Steven Jackson paired with Joseph Addai will yield you more points than the other combo.I would do it.

Addai is in the 1st tier of RBs (LT AP Westbrook SJax & him) and Barber isn't so take Addai. Addai has shown he can take an entire workload and do it effectively, while Barber has no longer shown it and the Cowboys even took Felix Jones in the draft to make confident Barber has some help merely in case he has any issues. Addai could desire to get some extra receptions too.

If you could get Addai, you would have 2 of the top 3 backs in the league this year. I can't remember who the other one is. You are giving up 2 good runners but ending up with a backfield comprised of 2 studs.

Oh hell yeah.

Even if C. Williams isn't gassed, Addai is coming off a good rookie year and is on one of the most powerful offenses in the League. He will score, gain yardage and catch a lot of passes. Especially now that he is the feature back at Indy.

Yes

Addai is a top-ten RB (he goes around 6th in most mock drafts and went 6th in our 12-team draft). Selvin Young has just been named the back-up to Travis Henry in Denver. Although Shanahan says he wants to get away from a 2-back platoon, I'll believe it when I see it. Also, Henry is injury prone and that could make Young very valuable if Henry is out.

Williams is also injury prone and playing on a poor Bucs offense. Barber is expected to take goal-line touches from Brandon Jacobs. But, I would say he's probably a wash versus Young.

So, the trade as I see it is basically you trading Williams for Addai. And, I would jump all over that.
