Hello,This is my case as of now. I am 16 and the mother and her daughter of 16 are filling a restraining order against me. I guess for harrasment it is. The story is this. I am in the wrong I understand and know I am in the wrong. I made a fake identity so to speak and said I was in danger to get her back to me. She later found out about this and filed a restraining order. In those emails I never threatend her or anyone. The order says I knew where she was at all times, was stalking, knew who she was talking with , etc.. None of that is true. I couldnt possibly know where she was. Sure i would have loved to known but I am mearly 16 and unable to find out such information.

You don't state what it is that you want to know...so I'll elaborate generally...

At 16 years of age you are a minor therefore you won't have to deal with adult court. However, juvenile court can be just as stringent as adult court and have some very serious consequences that could effect the rest of your life.

A restraining order is a legal order from the court that orders you to not have any contact with the petitioner (the person asking for the order).

This means no telephone contact, email contact, in person contact, or contact through another person.

If you happen to be at the same place at the same time....you could violate the order and wind up with some serious problems so I strongly suggest....LEAVE THEM ALONE!

Why not be yourself and quit pretending to "be in danger" in order to "get this girl back." Nothing is worse than telling a story to gain favor. You eventually wind up getting caught and it makes you look like a fool!

Live and learn! Best wishes.

I'm not sure that I fully understand your circumstances.

I also am not sure what the laws are for restraining orders in different states, etc.

However, from personal experience: I had a ton of issues with my mother growing up. At the age of 46 (I am now 48), I sent my mother a letter telling her that I no longer wanted anything to do with her, I thought she was trash and a bunch of other not so good things.

Because she had this letter, she was able to obtain a restraining order because she felt threatened by the language that I used in the letter.

So, in your case, I wouldn't be surprised if the person you mention was able to get a retraining order against you. Just ride it out -- keep your distance, do not contact her, etc.
