when they will teach ? are they paid extra for cooking ? in that sense the bureacrats should asked to prepare tea for the miniters, gring water etc. govt should then abolish all the posts of peons, messengers,drivers, cooks and masalchis for the office as well as for the messes etc.

i need not respond to mr clown_ uno but.....your search for the word caste does vindicate my stand.casteism is a cancer spread far and wide benefiting the upper crusts and elite . we must catch the bull by the horn.people like you have to leave space for us - sooner the better.

I think you are right. Teachers need to teach. This way, people here in Yahoo Answers would not have to spend time trying to decipher the questions with really bad spelling and not knowing how to use spell-check.

Its really hard to differentiate between your two anonymous Questions put together. Maybe some has noticed. What exactly is the problem? Is it teacher's being involved in cooking Mid Day Meal Or teachers of lower caste or strata are been forced to do so?
Since when caste-ism got involved in MDM? And if this news is true about teachers cooking MDM, then you must complain about this issue to police or education minister with support of some teachers.

as usual u are dreaming once again. how can u think of things which dont happen at all. The mid day meal scheme is only in MCD and Delhi admn schools and the meals are cooked and supplied by contractors appointed by MCD or delhi admn. I am a teacher since 1983 and have never heard of such incidence.

This is not the rule but may be an exception which has hapened somewhere. Sometimes it may happen, in India anything and everything can happen including teachers cooking meals.

This probably happens in one teacher schools; however, in most states, the supply of mid day meals is given out on contract; In Karnataka, ISKON supplies mid day meals under the AkshayaPatra scheme.
