My old high school is allowing me to audition for the upcoming play. the way they assign parts is a little unfair. the leads are given to students that participate every play, and the newer people (even if they have great acting skills) get the extra parts. I have never auditioned for anything more than a commercial and thats not very hard. my other plays were at my private school of 45 kids so everyone gets a good part and the class is small. this class has over 100 kids in it. most have been mean to me in the past. how can i put all this behind me and show them how good i really am (and maybe change their minds on who gets the lead/supporting roles)? i have to sing for it and im not supe confident in my singing. everyone who has heard me (except for two people) says i am great. any tips to not sound nasaly? thanks.

just relax and have fun with it. Like the others said, sing with your chest voice. practice by holding your nose while singing, if you don't sound nasally you're doing well. Don't get nervous because then your voice may shake. I came from a school with a graduating class of 24 to one with 652. We did freshman auditions and i was terrified, but the president was a good friend of mine. i ended up doing my audition scenes with him and felt really great about it. the directors didn't know me, but they could feel the charisma between me and him. so, if they have you do a scene or two with another person, just pretend you're practicing in front of the mirror with your best friend. if it's a love scene, don't think of someone you like, but something really great that happened to you. if you do a dramatic piece where you hate someone, think of the directors not casting you because you're new and how unfair that is. i learned that trusting the right emotion to show is a whole lot easier than concentrating on physically showing it. you also can concentrate more on the enunciation and projection of words. don't wory about getting a minor role either. The guy that i'm friends with and was president of the drama club played a small roll in a show that didn't even make any money but everyone who saw it still remembers that one character more than the plot line because he created his own history for his character and played it as if it was a lead. he's now going to the Royal Academy for Dramatic Art (RADA) in London, and that's a big deal if you didn't know. so relax, have fun, practice, sing as if you're projecting with a normal voice, and if you do get a minor role, act the hell out of it because if you do, people will remember.

in case you're speaking some colonoscopy first and maximum suitable, persist with the bowel prep instructions given to you. they gained't be able to be sure your finished colon in case you do no longer which delays prognosis of regardless of is in undesirable well-being you. My 8-twelve months-previous son has undergone 2 colonoscopies and a scope of the sigmoid. He has a working prognosis of Colitis, yet he could even have Crohn Colitis. With him, we prayed previously hand, (however to no longer 'God', extra of a usually happening prayer that they could discover what became into incorrect). We spent a large style of time focusing on how this could provide us a ideal prognosis ensuing in ideal drugs, so as that he could desire to be nicely back. We talked with him the two previously and after approximately how the soreness could be non everlasting, explaining what became into inflicting it (air equipped up in the bowel) and how going to the bathing room could help relieve it. We did our maximum suitable to reassure him that it became into in basic terms yet another step in making him besides as he could desire to be, so as that he could desire to circulate to college back and notice his acquaintances, etc. that is tough, yet once you're older those are all issues you are able to tell your self, that that is short, that that is a step in the approach to well-being. of course there are negative aspects linked with it, as there are with something, in spite of the fact that it is so rather recurring. on the different hand, in case you will be cloned, i'm no longer able to help ya.
