There are a few web sites that have a ovulation calculator. Just type in ovulation calculator into your search engine. You just need the first day of your last period and the length of your cycle(how many days between the first day of your last period and the first day of the one before). It gives you a pretty good estimate of your most fertile days.

You can try a few things to see when you ovulate. One thing is you can buy a n ovulation prediction kit at almost any drug store. Its just a stick you can pee on and it will tell you if you are ovulating or getting close. Also you can track your CM or cervical mucus. Two to three days before you ovulate you will start seeing a thin almost transparent discharge.. Almost like raw egg whites. Here are tips to help you. Such as after sex you should lay on your back with apillow under your hips so that the sperm can pool to the back sitting right against your cervix where it needs to be, sit that way for 20 to 30 minutes. Also don't rush up and go to the restroom until after that time. Good luck and lots of baby dust!!!

The best time to have intercourse is the four days or so leading up to ovulation because it has been proven that you won't conceive the day you ovulate or any days after ovulation. Sperm lives around 72 hours inside a woman that is why you should have it waiting for the egg to be released. I would chart your basel body temp daily and use the free website fertilityfriend.com to help you. Also look for the presence of cervical mucus. Most woman compare it to raw egg whites when they are close to ovulation. You can also use your finger to feel your cervix position. Remember SHOW when doing this Soft (like your lips feel) High (you may not even beable to reach it) Open (you can feel a small slit on it) and Wet. This is when you are close to ovulation. Any other time your cervix will feel harder (like the tip of your nose) low (easier to find and feel and this may also make sex uncomfortable) closed and not so wet or even dry feeling. Just some helpful advice.

Also your temp will remain lower until you ovulate and then it will spike up to indicate you have already ovulated. You will not conceive after the spike in temperature.

They say you generally start ovulating about two weeks after the first day of your period. They have several other methods of helping with predicting ovulation. There are kits or you can go by basal body temp. The kits have you urinate on a stick and it meassure the amount of LH your body is producing. When this peaks it generally means you are going to ovulate. Another method in basal body temperature meassurements but you usually have to do this over a couple of months because it tells you when you've ALREADY ovulated and can be used to predict ovulation in future months.

Science says you ovulate about half way through your cycle.
Personally, I think I ovulate way before that, it's different for every body. Pay attention to your cervical mucus, when its wet and slippery like egg whites, thats the time to jump into bed.....however, your best bet is to just to it every day for a cycle.

Best time to conceive is when your body temperature is high. Two weeks after your period, you will be ovulating. Obviously, don't use protection. Make sure you are not trying every day. If you wait a few days, he sperm will be more potent so to speak. Good luck!

Ten days after your period starts, you begin trying. Make love every other day (that maximizes Dad's sperm count) four times.

Raising her hips after intercourse (30 min) has been shown to help.

Make sure she's taking a multivitamin with folic acid. This is extremely important.
