Violent video games (PS2 or X Box) released in the past 2 years?

I'm looking for a violent game that i can base my A2 Media coursework on. The release date must be 2005-present.
Any games coming out in September in the UK is fine too.
I planned on using Manhunt 2 when i saw it was for pre-order on Play.com but have just found out that it actually is still banned.
Please help.

If you're looking for violent games that basically have no purpose other then killing people, then there are a few. If its any type of violence (first person shooting games) then your possibilities are endless.

You should be able to use the original Manhunt game, I think it was released in 2005 (most violent I can think of.)

If not, there are other violent games from Rockstar gaming inc. All grand theft auto games are pretty violent with pretty much no point, there has been 2 of them released since 2005.

if you want violent video games sell your ps2 and xbox and the
ps2 games for an Xbox360 they have alot of violent games
like Gears of war bioshock deadrising assasins creed(not very violent though)halo 3 which is just a great game to have

Urban chaos :Riot Response-Game is so violent-the plot is the you go around killing terrosts in the city.They drop f-bombs and bloods goes flying every where.
