I know I should be able to do this, sorry, but I need help. This is not the exact problem that I am doing because I want to do it myself, but I need to learn how to do it.

I have to "fina an equation of the line that satisfies the given conditions"

Problem:

"throuh (4, 5); parallel to the y-axis"

Please help me, thank you!

Normally you'd set up an equation to include a slope
and the given point, but this line is a special case
since it is vertical ("parallel to the y-axis").

Since it goes through (4,5), it is the vertical line:

    x=4

If parallel to y axis all points have the same x so...ç
x=4 is the equation
