So I hear drinking lots of water AND Robitussin helps with cervical mucus. I was also advised to start taking Robitussin 5 days before ovulation. How many times a day should I take it and how many teaspoons? Thanks in advance!

Hope this helps this month!

I read this too in "Taking Charge of Your Fertility". I think it says to take it like it instructs on the bottle and it also says to only take if you need your cm thinned out. Unless I misunderstood I don't think it will help you create any cm but only make it thinner if you have the really sticky kind of cm. Water is always a good idea. There is also a product that is called Preseed. I used it last cycle because Clomid totally dried my cm and I didn't conceive but that was because I didn't ovulate which may also explain the dryness but I didn't need to use it this month. I have also heard you can use raw egg whites never tried this. I would talk to your doctor for more suggestions.

yes I've heard about that, because robintussin has an active ingredient call gusafine (sp) that helps thinng mucus such as cervical mucus and nose mucus, it helps thinng the mucus so that the sperm can pass threw to the egg easier

I have never heard of such a thing... The best time to conceive is when your body temp is high, you are ovulating, and you are not on any sort of birth control. Sounds like an old wive's tale to me. Consult with your doctor. Don't believe the hype.

I've heard that two....I've also heard Mucinex will do the same thing. Mucinex is a pill, so you'd probably have to worry about it less, just take one once a day.
Good luck!!!

Who told you this?

Talk to a doctor...not some crackpot with stock in the cough suppressant company.

It seems to me, that if you're trying to conceive...you'd want THE LEAST amount of toxic crap in your system...not an extra dose.
