Microwave the poop and sell it as a poo-poo platter to the Chinese.

First, I would steam clean the carpet (if you don't have a steamer, no big deal). This helps getting it out of the carpet/pad. Next, in a spray bottle, fill with vinegar. Dogs hate the smell and won't mark their territory where it is present. Spray a decent amount on areas the dog continues to go and lightly spray the rest of the carpet. Don't spray so much as to make the carpet wet, (you don't want to start smelling the vinegar yourself!) Let dry. Hopefully this helps! Now, with my dogs, I never had to use this - I hear it is like the last case scenario. What worked for us, (if you have not tried this) is keeping the water bowl outside. That way the dog goes to the door when they are thirsty. When they do go out and fill up on water - leave them for a half hour or so. This forms a great habit of going to the door to go outside, (also keeps your floors clean!) and you'll notice they'll do their business before getting a drink and coming inside.

The microwave would just make a big mess. If you sell him to the Chinese, you might get back some of the money you spent on carpet cleaner.

If you sell him to the chinese then dont forget to charge shipping.
Seriously though, let him out for the evening say between 8 and when you go to bed. He have a crap outside and not on your carpet, and in this current weather you can leave him outside in a doghouse with a bowl of water as well.

The problem with microwaving him is it will make a mess, and I don't think the Chinese are using dog any more (they have gone on to cat) so your best bet is if you really really don't want him, then just take him to a rehomeing centre or open the back door so he can go in your garden!

Tough question! I think you could scoop it, show the dog and take him outside, show him that's the poop place! Doing it regularly might change things a bit. It might save you a lot fo cleaning (Microwave), getting done for animal cruelty and avoid a row with the Chinese who would not take your dog as we all know they really use cats in the chop suey!

dogs are expected to do that on the carpet. I would microwave you, instead and not the dog. Don't be mean. You don't deserve to have dogs with you.

Why not just house break him and keep him in an area with no carpet until he's a good boy.

You should eat it and we can sell you to the Chinese. If you can't handle all of the things that go with owning a dog than don't own a dog.

He has canine rights and is probably a victim of society.
Speak to him and try to find out the cause. If you cannot get anywhere take him to counselling.
Is your dog black? He may have been victimised by white dogs on his walk.
Explore all avenues.
