a girl at work told me that the contraception pill has made her grow hair evrywhere on her body ie....her face,breasts and her bum(hole) (were really close friends so we confide in each other) is this true and how can she rid of unwanted hair from these less than feminine places permenantly

well it could posibly be, but if it is true, that pill is not good for her and she has to go to hr gyn and be prescribed with other pill, when something strange happens you have to see your gyn and change your pill. When your hormones balance that annoying growing will fade.

Shaving doesn't make hair thicker, but what happens is, the hair we have on our arms, legs, and all over our bodies is similarly shaped to a cat or dog's hair - it's thicker at the base and the root than it is at the very tip. When you shave or cut this, it becomes darker and more noticeable because you've cut the pointed tip of the hair and made the surface area of the top "wider", making it more prominent when it grows back in.

bc pills are estrogen based, it would take testosterone to make her suddenly grow hair in these places. Strongly suggest that she see a doctor, this could be indicative of ovarian cancer.

yes it is true. the hormones in the pill can do that. other that serious procedures, tell her to just use Nair on those areas. it works for me.
