Let's be honest Sachin has epitomised Indian cricket for the past 16yrs. He has won us so many matches single handedly and no one can ever doubt his patroitism. Most of the cricket fans, from all across the cricket playing nations, look at India as the land of Tendulkar. In today's match against England he struggled after 60 and once out, he couldn't climb the stairs back to the dressing room. He wants to quit ODIs Please have a look at this respectable site's article
http://content-uk.cricinfo.com/india/content/current/story/309706.html

Let's also keep in mind that he is a man with his own ideas and only him or people closest to him would be able to tell the toll this 2 decades of non-stop cricketing has taken on him, his personal and social life.

I would still consider him to be the best Indian Sportsperson till today
Do you like the scennario of Indian team without Sachin? He's admired all over the world. Would you agree with his decision?
Please reply in detail.
Thanks

It is his call and if he does, then India will be to loose a great
cricketer of our times. He is been honest and if he continues
to play, then the selection committee needs to work around
and make him play every other game or 1 in 3 games. This
gives opportunity to other youngsters. He is the best, what
India has so far....I think very soon, he will make decision
and come to a conclusion.

If I were to advise him, then I would ask him to stay for a year
or two and play selective games, so it will not take a toll on
his body.

To be honest it is not the right time for sachin to quite from international cricket. He has still planti of cricket left to serve for India.
On 5th of Sep.07 you might have seen the magic of sachin. Infect in the whole series he makes the highest runs. There must be some psychological presur on our opponunts. And untill and unless If india not found one more sachin I think He should be there in the cricket.
And the players like Sachin Tendulkar They must see the situation of the team which is now prevailing in the Team.

Oh please, no........................... no..................... no.................

The man is giving his 110% in every match. He is still your most dependable player. He is still your best player. Then why would you like to throw him out.

Look brother for Sachin cricket means a lot. Sachin is a guy who thinks about cricket when he wakes up,he is the guy who thinks about cricket throughout the day & he is the guy who thinks about cricket when he goes to the bed. Cricket means a hell of a lot to this great man.
Without a doubt,he is the greatest cricketer ever after Sir Don Bradman.

Please show some respect to him. He don't want to quit. Then what problem do you have with him brother. Has he taken anything from you? No he hasn't. He has only given you something. What has he given to you? Glorious moments that you will never forget.

He is still our biggest match winner. He is still our biggest trump card. He is still the 'CRICKET GOD'.

We will never have another Sachin Tendulkar, because there is only one brother.

Please let the 'BATTING MAESTRO' play freely without any tension on his shoulders. He has carried enough tension for 16 long years

Thanks for the link brother. I have read the whole page. That has made me very senti right now. Damn it. I tell you one thing
i will have tears in my eyes the day he retires from cricket. That's for sure. Ihave never seen that much commitment from any player in any sport which Tendulkar has shown in his career. He has always played for the nation & never for the records. He is our hero. The world loves him

ALL HAIL SACHIN TENDULKAR
ALL HAIL SACHIN TENDULKAR
ALL HAIL SACHIN TENDULKAR

EDIT-
Take it easy mate. As i have told you the day when Sachin will retire will be one of the most emotional days in the history of cricket. Sachin is a legend among legends. He is the 'King Of Kings'. I know he can't play for ever but i want to see him batting for as long as possible. Sachin is not just a cricketer in my eyes. He is a lot more than that. He is somebody who unites all religions in India. He unites Muslims,Sikhs,Hindus &
people from all other religions in India. He is just great.

THAT RETIREMENT THING IS SAD. REALLY REALLY SAD

Sachin is getting old and he started his career at a young age ,so leave him to quit.He can not help India win matches anymore and be forced to carry the whole team.

That article is a hoax... read this one, it says something else.

He should not quit, he should play lesser matches. I am a young sports critic and I believe he is among the finest sportsman in cricket. Indian media is unduly harsh on him for their own sake of hype.
He plays like a dream and that my friend is an understatement.
Regards.

i would wanna start with, sachin is not the best sportsman in india, it is dhanraj pillay or kapil dev. now, coming to me... i cant believe india playing without sachin, it will be like england playing without beckam, or brazil playing without ronaldo. Sachin, in these years... has made himself more than just a respectable citizen. Coming to conclude this with one sentence, i just wanna say that sachin is smart enough to know when he wont be able to play, talking bout now, he's smokin'!.

It is upto him anyway.Right now he is doing well. But he is unable to play long innings. That is why he is missing out centuries. He must work out proper strategy to make the most of the conditions..
