Starvation diets are not new! Should only be for short very term only
Without food the body will first start on the fat in the body, then any muscle will be consumed to keep the body alive, then the body starts on the organs of the body. Without food you will tire quickly, and your kid will run rings around you, because you won't have the energy to keep up.
I know good food is hard on a tight budget, and you are likely to do without yourself, so your kid can eat, I know what that is like.
Try and eat something, keep you strength up , with work and a kid you need it

I'm what you say "morbidly obese". I rarely eat yet I drink a lot of pop. Still, what you're doing is really drastic. It sounds like a crash diet. You're going to become fatigued that way. If you are actually serious, you need to change your diet, i.e. eat sensible food like veggies and no oily foods 3 meals a day, and of course, exercise.

That's stupid.
Starving yourself will only make you sick, and then when you start eating, you'll gain the weight back.
I lost 3 pounds in a week, from eating nothing but a turkey sandwhiches & drinking nothing but water.

Thats not smart. You need to be eating, not a lot but some. And deffiently heathier. That right there will hurt your body.
