Dont answer questions here anymore but how could i resist this. Funny how someone assumed your from Britain there. I think you should do one fo two things- 1. if you've money enough travel and see the world, grab adventure by the balls with open eyes and you'll learn what gives you the drive enough to have a menaingful life. 2.if you dont have money enough to do this save up and then do it. I'm going to Australia in January coz i finally know what i want to do at the age of 26. It was meant to happen this way, i can tell you my friend its been a frustrating few years til i did find out.
I just think we should have a nice chat about all this and see can we put our mad heads together and come up with a plan. stab

You'd need to check out conditions first! You know you would need a visa for work there. It may be you can get one easy enough then again might not be.

You're 20 so you can still apply for Camp America. You get 3 months in the USA working doing something you're good at after which you get so long to just visit! It might be an idea to start of. Supposing you get to make contacts while you're already there. it might be easy to find someone willing to give you a job and make it easier for your visa afterwards.

I think it's normal for people to get bored with their life once in a while. It's also normal to want to just get up and go. However, in reality most of the time it's not convenient. Whether its because of job responsibilities, school, family etc. I'm in the process of finishing school and then relocating next summer. It takes time to move. Make sure you have a plan and then follow through with it. As far as a career path, I'm not sure what your experience is. Look on-line at different job sites etc.

Go for it. I wish I had. If you feel the need to stretch yourself, do it while you can.
There are websites for jobs abroad, type in 'jobs in ......'.
Go for it, and good luck!

What are all these people talking about??! I can't understand why anyone would convince someone NOT to travel at age 20!! Britain is NOT one of the nicest places, other countries have far better lives, and far more positive people!
I'd go to Canada.

You go!

Oh laddie! there is one thing you can not escape from and that is yourself. Look carefully and think again and if in three months time you feel the same way and actually have something to offer your new country, do it. get in touch with their embassy and write down your questions before you speak to them

You need to find your passion. What are you passionate about? What do you love? How can you turn this passion in to a very fulfilling job? If you follow your passion, you will be fine no matter where you are. Good luck!

Everything you need is right here under your nose, look for it.

Running away will not help.
