The Cardinals look like they're the only team who wants to WIN the division. The other 2 seem like they'd prefer to LOSE it to the other.
BTW, it's spelled Milwaukee...

The Chicago cubs will win the NL central because Zambrano is due for good pitching and Soriano, Ramirez, and Lee are gonna have a big offensive September. Between the three teams remaining schedules the Cubs have the advantage

I agree with the first answer. Yes, I am bias because I am a big Cards fan, but with Ryan, Ankiel, and Wainwright, they look hungry for the playoffs, where as the Cubs and Brewers keep riding the roller coaster of mediocrity. The Cards have the worst chance of winning the division, but they definitely want it the most.

I agree with Brandon, the Cardinals are the only ones playing with a sense of urgency or hunger to win. Neither the Cubs or the Brewers seem to want to win it as they lose stupid games. But the Cubs do have the easiest remaining schedule. It's between the Cubs and Cards, the Brewers cinderella season is over.

i am a cardinals fan, i love baseball, its my life
right now i think milwalkee has not chance at it because their pitching isnt healthy enough and they arent consistant
i would say the chicago cubs would win except they havent been consistant, if carlos zambrano could win 3 games in a row it would help the cubs out tremendously and id give it to them but it doesnt look like that now
the cardinals have been on fire lately and they need consistant pitching and some decent starts from mulder so id have to give it to the cardinals
but right now its way to early to tell

With Zambrano stinking it up lately and the Brewers stinking it up all-around, I think the Cardinals have a great shot to pull this off if they can get hot for a few weeks. Otherwise, I think it will be the Cubbies.

Probably Chicago. And I'm a cards fan. Unfortunately the whole division is very weak right now.

I would really like to see Milwaukee get to the playoffs because they are small market and prove that it doesn't even matter that other teams have spent more money to get there. The one thing that does bother me is that there could be a team in the postseason with a sub .500 record.

The St.Louis Cardinals will Win the Central.
They control their own destiny as they are tied with games lost, and have 2 less games played.
