1st off $500 is very doable...IM not there yet but every doable. It does take time and as some other have posted content. I make a solid 350 monthly my best month being 382 from adsense. I do this witha few sites but http://www.printnpost.com is my baby since it uses the power of many authors to drive traffic. Really there is nos ecert to it..it just about how much time you spend...adsense is like a long term investment..becuase it grows over time not overnight. There are things like search arbitrage(buying cheap traffic to send to adsense sites) to grow quickly but this requires some experiance of PPC marketing plus you risk getting banned from adsense.

You need to have many, many pages and try to generate a lot of traffic. $500 a month is possible, but it would take lots of ads. You can have a maximum of 3 sets of ads per page and 1 set of google ad links. The most I ever made in one month was about $224.00 so far. You need something really interesting in your blog. Heather at http://www.dooce.com gets over 25,000 visitors per day and makes enough to support her family via her blog. She's a lady that is "famous" for actually getting fired for blogging about people at work.
Good luck,
Joyce

Well having 2 posts from 2006 won't earn you much on your blog. If you write more interesting posts EVERY DAY, you will get more traffic...not sure about $500 a month, but you will earn more than having two posts from last year.

You need to write better content and get lots of people to link to your site. Right now your blog totally sucks and no one would want to read it. Make something that people would want to read or look at. It's as simple as that. Would you spend your time reading your own blog? I doubt it cause it doesn't have good content.
Look at other successful bloggers and see how much time and energy they put into their posts, it's a lot of work. Work hard at it every day (8+ hours) and you may be successful.
