I am 18 and in college. My dad has decided he wants to stop paying child support can he do that legally or is there some way he can has to keep paying?

He can stop on your 18th B-day unless your mother obtained a court order ordering him to pay after that.

He only has to pay until 18..anything beyond that is a given and a gift

Nope, once you turned 18 he isn't legally obligated to pay anything else. If you need more money for school, you'll need to get school loans like everyone else.

I don't think he has to still pay. It ends when you are 18.

some degrees say they hae to pay till certain age or graduate from college you have to look
