What can I check to make sure it is not a gasket. I left the car parked and the coolant went down alot (not all) in one day. I looked under the car and there was no signs of a leak unless there is something under the car catching the leak. Please help me with this. Also, the coolant was going down a little bit at a time, now it's going down fast. Do you think it could be a leak in a hose that got bigger?

Fill up the coolant, start the car and let the engine get good and hot. Then check for leaks while the engine is running. If you don't see any leaks the most likely thing is a blown head gasket. Bad enough that it would only be worth fixing if the rest of the car was in great shape, or you knew someone who could do the job for a case of Heineken.
