The Asti Spumanti Code by Toby Clements.
I read this when people were all into the Da Vinci Code. I'm a Christian, and felt no need to read TDC, even though so many people were going on and on about the plot making it so great. I just didn't like the message. But I didn't miss out on the intricacies of the story line, because the Asti Spumanti Code was meant to be a direct parallel to the plot that it satires, while providing an alternate for those who avoided the original for religious reasons; and it was hilarious! It should be made into a movie! LOL

what kind of book? what do you like? there are tons of good books, but it really depends on your taste.
My favorite books are Jane Eyre, My Name is Asher Lev and Lolita.
But they're heavy books unless you're into that stuff. For an easy, light read, just check out something on the New York Times Best Seller's list.
