Best way is to draw this straight line by taking a few points.
(0 , 2) and ( 2 , 0) are points on the line.
Draw the line thro` these two points.

It goes down with a slope of - 1 (that is, at an angle of - 45 degrees) from y = 2 on the y-axis. It also passes through x = 2 on the x-axis.

Those two points that I've given you, lying on the line, should make it easy for yout to graph or sketch it.

Hi,

In this case, you can easily tell what the graph is. This equation is a linear algebraic equation, which makes it a straight line. We can put the equation in point-intercept form simply by reversing the 2 and the -x to get

y = -x + 2

From this, we can say that the slope is -1 and the y-intercept is 2. We can easily find the x-intercept by setting y equal to zero, and finding that x = 2 is the x-intercept.

it is a straight line going pointing to the left side of the graph. first plot the point for yintercept, which is y=2. then take the number infront of x that is -1, and that is the slope. from the point of 2, go one up and one left, or one down and one right

It's like x (a diagonal line crossing (0, 0), going upward from left to right), but instead, it's reversed (-x will cross x) and it will pass by (0, 2); it is lifted by two units.

if x = 2, y = 2-2 = 0, so plot (2,0)
if x = 0, y = 2-0 = 2, so plot (0,2)
draw a line through the points.

It's a line that goes like this then turns a litle bit this way then twists until it almost gets over here then it just disappears.
