that is equal to 3k-10x=7 so k=(10x+7)/3 or x=(3k-7)/10

if the equation is in natural numerbs that means 10x+7 divides 3 so 10x is (multiple of 3) +2 so x is (mult 3)+2.

10x + 15 = 8 + 3k
10 x = 8 + 3k - 15
10 x = 3k - 7
x = (1/10) (3k - 7)

Expand and solve for x...

5 (2x + 3) - 3k = 8

10x + 15 - 3k = 8

10x = 8 - 15 + 3k = 3k - 7

x = (3k - 7) / 10
or
x = .3k - .7

Your answer for "x" must be in terms of the "number k".

5(2x+3)-3k = 8
10x+15-3k = 8
10x-3k = 8-15 = -7
10x=3k-7
x=(3k-7)/10

OR

5(2x+3)-3k = 8
10x+15-3k = 8
10x-3k = 8-15 = -7
3k=10x+7
k=(10x+7)/3

My understanding is that an equation with two unknowns requires another equation in order to derive the answer.

In order to sole an equation you need,
1 equation, 1 unknown
2 equations, 2 unknowns
3 equations, 3 unknowns
etc...
