Most of the work at home and online job opportunities are scams. Either they want money up front or they are collecting personal info. You'll see lots and lots of folks swearing they got checks from some survey site but they're just shilling for the site.

The handful of legit call center companies have very long waiting lists and if you do make it to the top of the list, you won't get enough assignments to make any real money.

You would be better off figuring out what you know how to do and start your own business -- babysit, cater, lawn mowing, music lessons, etc.

Of course finding a job outside the home, even at minimum wage, would be quicker and give you more income.

You'd be better off finding a job outside your home, even if it's low paying, than getting involved with the typical work at home schemes that are advertised on the internet, or that people push in this forum.

I don't recommend you to join things you have to pay an amount first and those could be scam. If you have some free time at home and can use your computer frequently, I would recommend you to look at source 1 & source 2. I am using those and am pretty happy so far. Oh completely free to join, nothing to lose!

It would have helped if you told us what state you were in and what your profession was.
If by chance you live in Texas,I'd suggest:
