I'm sorry, I can't figure out what that word is ...intrathecal??? However, if any sight on you is very tender, red or showing any signs of swelling, then you should let your Dr know. It sounds like it was some sort of injection? IV? spinal block? none of these things should be causing you pain now. Be on the safe side and call.

Okay, first off, there is nothing wrong with being insulted. Being insulted is an opinion thing & we all have the right to an opinion. Reporting all of that seems a little thin skinned. For the bonus question: Researching to find more to report sounds obsessive. If this section is too difficult for certain people's sensibilities, they shouldn't come here in the first place.

I don't think that is normal. It sounds like it could have got infected, in which case they will probably need to give you antibiotics. Get it looked at, particularly if the area is red.

Are you asking about an epidural??

If so, no that's not normal. Call your doctor ASAP.

No, it shouldn't hurt. Call your OB.
