Sleep is a habit, you have to work at correcting the late nights gradually, and then stick to it before it comes more naturally. It's a fact that teen's internal body clock is wired differently from everyone else. They don't tire until late, and need that extra sleep in the morning. The ideal school day for a teen would be from 11 am to 5 pm, but that just isn't possible until perhaps in university/college. Your best bet right now is to tire your system, don't drink any pop, coffee, tea, or eat chocolate after 4 pm today, they all contain caffine which will keep you up. At 9 pm, have a shower or bath to relax you and save time in the morning when you don't have to get up so early to shower. At 10 pm, climb into bed, stop thinking about stuff you have to do, and read a book until your eyes start to fatigue. Turn off the lights and play soft, quiet music until you drift away (not a radio program where you may listen to voices too, just nice slow songs). Set your alarm for 7 and up you get! By tomorrow night you will be good and tired and can continue with that routine as best you can! Good luck in school!

You need 8 hours of sleep so lets say you need to get up at 6 to meet your friends for 8. Then you would need to be in bed for 10pm. You may want to laydown at 9:30 just to relax because it takes you a little while to fall asleep especially before the first day of school. Take a warm bath to relax you and drink a glass of milk. If you have someone that will rub your back that helps alot too! Don't eat too late or watch anything that is high energy on TV. It will keep your brain up. Don't drink any caffine after 5 pm! The best way to make this a habit is to go to bed and get up at the same time every weeknight. Good luck!

I hate to tell you this but you can't just change like that. The best thing to try is to exert a lot of energy today so maybe you'll get tired earlier tonight. It will take a few days for your body to get readjusted to where you can go to sleep earlier and get up earlier without feeling really tired. Try exercising: running, swimming, etc. so maybe you'll be tired tonight. Also, don't drink anything with caffeine in it this afternoon or evening.

Well, count sheep until you get so bored that you just fall asleep around 9:30pm. Get up at like 7:30.....you can change this to better fit you. Just make sure you are falling asleep in class

my advice? go to bed at 10. and is going to be hard....shut your eyes, lay in bed.... and dont think about the next day. have everything for the next day so you wont forget anything and even you cloths.
