I just came from wal-mart and they had a barebones pc there with a pretty good price $298 bucks (you get a tower some speakers and a keyboard),I believe it was an emachines and the guy there said it has a vista platform. I was under the impression vista needed a lot of sdram to work correctly. Thats why a lot of folk are having trouble with vista.I was thinking to my self. Am I right?
can I get a little help?

You should have 1024 ram for vista, but you can add 512ram easily and if its ddr2 its inexpensive and easy to add.You can buy ddr2 for about 30-40 dollars . Go to--Pricewatch.com---for pricing, some of their stores have free shipping also.
