I think the guitarist wanted to start a new band or start producing albums or something. Serj is putting out a solo album next month called "Elect The Dead". But I honestly think the band members aren't getting along, apparently they all rode in seperate tour buses on their last tour.

the true answer is that they had toured nonstop for almost a year and all of them want to work on solo projects. they are not broken up there was no argument, they are not communists and serj tanikin is not a terroist
