In the USA, a glass of liguid (like for drinking) is taken to be an 8 ounce glass which is 1 cup, which is under under 250 ml. (240 on the orange juice can) so 0.25 L in a glass.
Soda cans are 12 ounces for comparison.

Glass can not accept into LITRES of water because by the technical characteristics and definitions glass is graduated from 0.3 decilitres up to 3 decilitres. When you talk about litres probably you're mean to the BOTTLE. Veradisca & Best Regards, Neven.

A glass contains more or less 200 cc, so, 5 glasses would be a liter
