How much does your average tradesman charge in Edinburgh per hour, especially an Electrician?

Plain Jane sarcasm is the lowest form of wit ;-) But i take your point, I am an electrican myself and am moving to edinburgh, i just wanted to see what the average rate was down there.

Crazy gang, I do live in Scotland already your right and had a rough idea what it might be in Edinburgh, but i didnt know for sure as the price can vary wildly from a village where i am now to the capitol. So just thought id ask if anyone knew fro sure. (That is the general idea of Yahoo Answers I would have thought ;-)

£25.00 - £30.00 + VAT per hour depending on size/ type of job and time involved. Or an estimate or (fixed price) quote. Other trades vary depending on company involved.

There is an amazing instrument--a Scot named Bell invented it--called a 'telephone.' i suppose that would all depend on what trade he was in..
ans as you are moving down to edinburgh. i assume you must already be working in scotland so you must have some idea yourself.
