The odd warble in Banks' and Tankian's voices... the four-member line-up... and most remarkably of all, NO magazine cover with BOTH bands simultaneously!
The superficial differences like facial hair, complexion, and band and member names are easily faked with ingenious disguises and false documentation.
Has anyone seen them in the same place at the same time?
I rest my case.

Codename - I hadn't thought of LOG and Lady Sovereign, but it's doubtful due to the gender difference, personnel count, and style difference. I'm raising a case of SAME on all counts.

Honestly, I haven't heard the band name Interpol. But why would SOAD try to disguise themselves is beyond my understanding. You've never seen Lamb of God with Lady Sovereign. Does that mean the members of LOG are aliens and disguise themselves as Lady Sovereign? I also rest my case here.

Quite different bands and fan bases. I really dont see any similarity in their music, not knocking either band. As far as i know all the members in Interpol go by their proper name except for Carlos Dengler, who goes by Carlos D.
The band photos below look different to me..

We are all entitled to our opinions but I cannot for the life of me make that connection. You would be hard-pressed to come up with two more different groups than these. Their music has zero similarity, the lead singers of each respective group sound nothing alike, and yes they have been seen in separate place at the same time.
