Our infrustructure is in massive decline and the roads that were built to use as the Germans used the autobon are in detereation?
So are we now set up to be attacked or will we just collapse under our own corruption?

Yes, we are.
Look at how old the power transformers are...and they aren't being replaced because of the removal of regulations that have been in place that Reagan removed. The upkeep is poor at best. Our roads are in need of serious help...They fix the roads that are Ok, and totally ignore the ones which are falling apart. I know the county where I live spends money on top of money on poorly thought out plans which do nothing except spend money, while the roads which need help suffer.
IMO we will collapse under our own corruption like Russia did, as well as Rom and all the other great Empires.

Maybe if the government would do its job instead of having all these damned investigations into non-crimes, we could have some of our infrusturcture fixed. Maybe if these damned Congressmen would get away from these pet projects, we could fix some more of our infrustructure. Maybe if we didn't have to spend so much money on healthcare, school, and food for illegal immigrants, we would be able to fix the roads they help destroy with unsafe vehicles.
