Depends on your computer...what kind of port it has to connect the printer.(serial, USB, parallel)..what version of Windows (assuming Windows)...etc. You need to give a bit more information.

Read the specifications of the printer you're interested in. There should be an entry for system compatibility. If PC and Windows 2000 is listed there, you're good to go. You can find the specifications on the manufacturers' websites or often on the retailers site.

Actually your question should be "what computers can use this printer?" - you can find this answered on the box containing every printer. Some have extra interfaces for Apple hardware.
Be sure to get the driver for the Operating System and type
of computer (Intel vs Apple) you want to interface with.

ANY printer, Buy one you like, install software on supplied CD, connecting USB cable when prompted, and away you go.

If you use a MAC, make sure it says MAC COMPATIBLE, if you are on Vista, check it comes with Vista drivers to save having to download form internet
