With a 28-33 day cycle it is very unusual that you would be getting ready to ovulate so soon. Please don't take this the wrong way, but are sure it was positive? OPK's aren't like pregnancy tests, 2 lines doesn't always mean positive on an OPK.

You actually could be ovulation because today would be about day 9 for you and some women do ovulate extremely early. I would test again today in a few hours (so your urine has time to get concentrated) and I would continue to test daily until you get a negative to see if you truelly are getting positives or it is just a fluke. And start baby dancing just in case you are getting ready to ovulate. If you don't conceive this cycle also chart your temps next cycle to help determine your ovulation pattern. Use the free site fertilityfriend.com. It is great and easy to use. Best of luck ttc!!

You ovulate 12-18 days before you get your period, so on average, you probably ovulate between the 10th and 21st day of your cycle - a lot of variance. The trouble is, not only is every woman different, but every CYCLE can be different too. It is easier to determine when you ovulated after the fact than before it happens. If you chart your cycle regularly, you can determine the date of your ovulation with more accuracy more often, but not 100% certainty 100% of the time.

It is very possible. Every woman is different. The average; yes; is 14 days after the first day of your LMP. Fact of the matter is nobody's bodies are the same. I've heard of women ovulating the day immediately following their LMP. Best of luck to you and yours!

It is probably right. You can also look at cervical mucus. A few days before and a day or two after you will have transparent CM which will resemble a raw egg white. Also check your Basal Body temp. It should be slightly higher when ovulating. Hope I helped!
