double standard, it is very easy to pick on white males, because if we take any offense at all, we are being racist.
Why can Chris Rock or Carlos Mencia say anythign they like about white males but we dont dare say anything about them without being racist?
There are any number of women comediennes that can say things about men that a man could never say in return.
But the thing is, I recognize it as humor and I really dont let it bother me, apparently some others do.

The reason for public service education about how men/boys should treat girls/women is because violence against women is extremely higher (statistically) speaking than the other way around. Most girls and women (especially pregnant women) who are abused or killed are abused or killed by someone close to them (usually a male relative or boyfriend). The highest cause of death among pregnant women in the US is not complications of pregnancy but MURDER by a husband or boyfriend. That is what it is about, friend.

Amen. Girls need to respect men just as much. Like opening up doors--that's not just a guy thing. Girls should open doors for people too. So yes. Girls should have just as much, if not more, respect and decency.

Everybody should treat everybody else with respect, by which I mean courtesy. There is a different kind of respect that has to be earned.

Men are usually the stronger sex (height and build-wise) and some may use that to their advantage against women until they are taught that is wrong and we are equal inside. Also women have been looked down on for thousands of years, so it makes sense that men should respect us for once.
