Yes, the NPC should help you. Pick up a jar, walmart sells the Rexall brand for $12-13. Since you aren't ovulating I assume you aren't having periods, so if this is the case, start using the cream twice a day--1/8-1/4 tsp twice daily. Put it on soft skin--chest, neck, lower belly, thighs, behind knees, top of feet, etc. Use it for 21 days, unless your period comes sooner, then take a pg test, if neg, stop using it, your period should come. Then start again on cycle day 5 using the cream again for 21 days, take pg test, if neg, stop the cream, get a period, and do it for 1 more cycle, for a total of 3. This is called a shutdown and it should help regulate things. Then if you like, you can also use the npc during your luteal phase after you start ovulating. Also, don't abruptly stop the cream if you even think you might be pg, this can cause miscarriage, so be sure to take a hpt before stopping the cream each time, unless of course your period comes.

Once you get your ovulation back on track, your doctor should be treating you with extra progesterone, preferably in suppository or pill form (cream is iffy due to freshness, purity and dosage issues), starting three days past ovulation and continuing either till you get your period or, if you're lucky, the end of the first trimester. Waiting until you find out you're pregnant may be too late. If your doctor is hesitant to do this, get a second opinion!

Good luck!

Low progesterone level increases chances of miscarriage, thats true. But I guess u went to the doc at the right time and given supplements, so do not worry too much, take rest as much as possible...u ultrasound around 6 weeks for the cardiac activity of the foetus....to get a better stand. As of now relax and hope for the best......and definitely keep taking the hormone supplements.

i know a few women who have tried the creams and some pills. its seemed to have worked for them but i suggest asking your doctor for their medical opinoin and maybe even ask several doctors so you know you are getting the best answers. i would also try and do some research on the internet as well. :) lots of luck!!!
